About MBF
My name is Marianne (B) Fitzkee and I'm from Lancaster County, PA. In May '23, I graduated from Messiah University with majors in Spanish and Peace and Conflict Studies and a minor in English. I spent the fall semester of my junior year studying abroad in Granada, Spain.

I enjoy singing, drinking coffee, learning about pretty much anything (especially language, culture, history, and social justice), and spending time with loved ones.

I hope to learn from and join with the communities of which I am a part at my placement and am grateful for all the ways my home communities have supported me. I am eager to explore new places, meet new people, grow in love, and discern my future steps.
About BVS
Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) is a full-time volunteer program that places adult volunteers in projects in the United States and locations around the world to advocate justice, work for peace, serve human need, and care for creation. It is a program of the Church of the Brethren (COB), an Anabaptist Christian denomination. This is BVS' 75th year!
